Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Poker Range Calculator (“the app”) and pokerrangecalculator.com (“the site”) collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the iOS app, the Android app and the site.

1. The chart itself needs nothing from you

You can install the app and use every part of the free chart without an account, an email address, or a sign-in of any kind. There is nothing to create and nothing to verify.

Your preferences — the percentage for each seat, your app colour, Simple Mode, Hide Table View, Hide Big Blind, and light or dark appearance — are stored on your device, by the operating system, in the app’s own private storage. They are not transmitted to us and we cannot read them. Deleting the app deletes them.

2. What we collect, in full

If you buy a subscription or a lifetime unlock

Payments are processed by the platform you bought through. We never see or store your card number, and no payment card details ever reach our servers.

• On iOS — Apple processes the purchase. We receive confirmation that a valid purchase exists for your Apple Account, not your identity or your payment details.
• On Android — Google Play processes the purchase, on the same terms.
• On the web — Stripe processes the purchase. We store the email address you give at checkout and a record of what you bought and until when, so the purchase can be restored and applied to your account.

If you create an account on the site

An account is optional and is only needed to carry a purchase across devices. If you create one, we store your email address, and the name and profile image your provider gives us if you sign in with Google or Apple. Signing in with Apple’s “Hide My Email” works normally; we store the relay address and never learn your real one.

Usage of the site

The site uses product analytics to count page views and which features get used, in aggregate, so we know what to improve. This is not tied to an advertising network and is never sold. The mobile apps contain no analytics or advertising SDK at all — not a disabled one, not a consent-gated one. There is no code in the binary that reports your behaviour to anyone.

Support email

If you email us, we have your email and whatever you wrote, for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.

3. What we never collect

• Payment card numbers.
• Your location, contacts, photos, calendar, microphone or camera. The app asks for none of these permissions, so the answer cannot change without a new version and a new review.
• Any results, hand histories or account details from a poker site. The app has no connection to any poker room, does not read your screen and does not know whether you are playing.
• An advertising identifier. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and there is no third party doing it on our behalf.

4. Who else touches your data

Only the services that make the product work, and only for that purpose:

• Apple and Google — app distribution and in-app purchases.
• Stripe — payment processing for purchases made on the web.
• Cloudflare — serving the site and our API.
• A managed database host and a product analytics provider for the site, under the terms described above.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no advertising business here to share it with.

5. How long we keep it

Purchase and entitlement records are kept while your access is active and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes. Account records are deleted when you ask us to delete your account. Support email is kept until it is no longer useful.

6. Your choices

You can use the whole free chart without giving us anything, which is the most direct control available. Beyond that, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it — including your account and its purchase history — by emailing the address below. Depending on where you live you may have these rights by law (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA); we apply them to everyone regardless.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google. Those are cancelled in your App Store or Play Store account settings, because only the platform can cancel them.

7. Children

The app is a study tool for adult card players and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States and the services above operate there and in other countries. If you use the app from outside the United States, information covered by this policy may be processed in the United States.

9. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or why, we will update the date at the top and, for a material change, say so in the app’s release notes. The current version is always at this address.
